T-ara’s new two to be introduced

Core Contents Media, the agency behind girl group T-ara, announced on Wednesday that on this coming Thursday and June 7, two new members will be officially introduced to the public.

The announcement comes after the agency had earlier in April announced that it would add two members to the group, bringing the total number of members from seven to nine.

“One member is 19 years old and is a talented singer as well as a looker. She will join the group in June. The other girl is a Korean-American who spent most of her childhood from age 4 and up in the United States,” the agency announced on Wednesday.

The two members were both described as around 167 centimeters (5 feet, 5 inches) tall and charismatic.

As soon as the announcement was made, Star News, an internet news Web site, published an exclusive in which one of the girls, named Dani, was introduced. Pictures as well as additional information about the young entertainer were also included in the article.

Cho Shin Sung (Supernova) release new single launch at Tower Records

Boy band Cho Shin Sung (Supernova) held a launching party to commemorate the release of its 14th Japanese single on May 23 at Tower Records’ headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Their launching single “Stupid Love / Come Back to Me” managed to come in at fourth on the daily Oricon chart.
The release the boy band’s first in Japan since its leader, Chung Yoon-hak, was drafted into the army last October.

Due to fierce competition for the event, fans were randomly picked to gain entry to the launch party.
“Only 100 of you were picked from a pool of 3,000. This has got to be the most special event promotion we’ve taken part in. We can’t wait to party with you,” the band said as the event kicked-off.

Since it’s the group’s first release since the departure of Chung, the band said that it was “nervous.”

Nevertheless, the group members said that they would work hard to reach No. 1.

The band started its tour of Japan on May 17; the tour will continue until the 25th.

What Do Teen Top, 2PM, and Big Bang Have in Common?

The mysterious girl in Teen Top’s music video teasers has been revealed! On May 24, Teen Top’s Niel tweeted, “Filming music video with the charming Haena nuna, who stole the hearts of six guys!!! I felt her charisma from the first moment I met her for the shoot. Kk. Please look forward to the release of CAP hyung and my heartbreak version tomorrow [May 25]. Oh and my shocking bath scene as well ^ ^,” and attached a photo of himself with modelSong Haena.

The former “Top Model S2” contestant has received much attention for her charisma, as well as quick reflexes, despite her relatively short stature as a model. Recently, she partnered up with Big Bang’s G-Dragon (GD) to model for an apparel brand. She’s also shot a spread with 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung.

Meanwhile, Teen Top will unveil Niel and CAP’s teaser today, May 25, at 7PM KST and will make their official comeback on May 30.

Rain Shares a Selca While on Vacation

Private Rain went on vacation and took a few selcas which have caught the attention of fans.

The selcas were posted through Rainy Entertainment’s official Twitter along with the message, “I’m posting these photos from my vacation I took them only for you as a surprise gift. ^^”

Sometime had passed since Rain updated his fans and the pictures were well received. In the photos rain can be seen wearing his improvised vacation wardrobe with black rimmed glasses and a baseball cap to complete the look. Rain faced the camera with a sweet smile.  Even in his early thirties, he may have a mature look but he is still able to look innocent.

Netizens who saw the photo commented saying, “For someone born in 1982 you still look cute,” “This was not taken on a real vacation, right,” “The military seems to be doing you good. Glad to see you are doing well,” and “You look better than ever.”

Dal Shabet Reveals New Member Woo Hee

Yesterday we reported that Dal Shabet’s leader Viki was leaving the group, it looks like she is being replaced with newcomer “Woo Hee.” Woo Hee was a trainee under Happy Face Entertainment and she was chosen to replace Viki because she fits in with their image.

Their agency stated, “Woohee was born in 1991 just like Dal Shabet’s Ah Young andJiyool. Currently she is taking a break from university, and she is a broadcasting major. She has trained as a trainee for many years and she is very skilled in terms of dancing and singing.”
Woohee stated, “I am happy and both nervous because I am going to join Dal Shabet, who I already like a lot. I am worried that I won’t be able to fill in Viki unni’s shoes. I am happy thatSerri and the other members are treating me very well. I will try even harder because I have joined Dal Shabet in the middle. Please watch me in a positive light.”

Dal Shabet will release their first official album on June 7.

Big Bang Releases Flaming G-Dragon Teaser for New Album “Still Alive”

Flames are actually following Big Bang G-Dragon’s Hair which looks bright red like it is on fire as well! YG Entertainment released a teaser image for their new special album “Still Alive” on their official blog and Big Bang’s official Facebook page, May 25.

As you can see in the picture, G-Dragon’s hair is bright red just like the flames that are following him.

As we reported before, Big Bang is scheduled to release “Still Alive” on June 3. The album will contain 9 tracks and 5 of them are new. The title track “Monster” will come out with a blockbuster music video, which will be a collaboration with Hyundai Card.

A representative of YG stated, “Starting from G-Dragon’s teaser image, we will continue to release teasers one each day. As you can see, G-Dragon’s picture gives off a bit of a bad guy vibe. In the teaser images that will follow, you will see stronger sides of Big Bang and charms that you have not felt before.”
