The "Rolling Stones" Lists the "10 K-Pop Groups Most Likely to Break in America"

On May 18, the “Rolling Stones” magazine wrote an article for their online website that picked the “10 K-Pop Groups Most Likely to Break in America.”


The article stated the success of K-Pop on YouTube, the K-Pop concert that will be hosted on Google, May 21. Also, the article stated that BoA and Se7en had “unsuccessful American debuts likely due to the fact that they were molded by American record labels to be presented in a way they saw best to break into the notoriously difficult market.”
Also, it described K-Pop as “a mixture of trendy Western music and high-energy Japanese pop.” The article stated that K-Pop would be successful if it targeted “children and teenagers.”
